A chenille needle is a large eye needle with a sharp tip, used primarily in embroidery projects. Size 22.

Milliners needles are often called straw needles and have a small, short eye that is the same width as shaft of needle. They are used for basting and pleating fabrics.

Crewel needles are also called " embroidery " needles. Crewel needles have a medium-long eye, a shaft slightly thinner than the eye (the eye bulges slightly at the top of the shaft), and a sharp tip. Size 5
